Export Packaging Best Practices for Handicraft Shipments

Handicraft products - especially marble, ceramics, and glass-accented items - are vulnerable to transit damage if packaging is not matched to the product's fragility and the shipping mode.

Best practice starts with individual protection (poly bag, foam sleeve, or corrugated wrap) before grouping into an inner carton, followed by a export-grade outer carton with corner protectors and, for heavy or fragile items, palletization and shrink-wrapping for container loading.

Buyers should request a packaging specification sheet and, for first orders, photos of the actual packed carton before container loading. This is standard practice at Asra Global and is documented on every product page under "Packaging Details."
